Ask a question about advert: 00023161 [ Edit advert] (Questions/messages at bottom of page)  Advert details: I lost my job so now I have to sell my pride and joy. It is a 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan EN500. I bought it last year for $4000 and since then I have added over $350 in custom accessories including Dunstall Megaphone Mufflers, custom teardrop mirrors, I raised the handlebars 3 inches and I also added some custom highway pegs. I am six foot tall and weigh about 200 pounds and I am very comfortable on it. and I love the way the pipes I put on it sound. The bike has 10,000 miles on it. It is a great starter bike even though I had planned on keeping it for at least another year because of the customizations I have made to it and the tags are good through March of next year. It is a six speed and I have gotten it up to over 100 MPH on the highway. It is a pretty cruiser with a fat gastank but it is also pretty light compared to a 650 or 850. The engine has no problems at all whatsoever, but it needs an oil change and the back tire could stand to be replaced within the next 6 months. It has three cosmetic problems. When I was first learning to ride I got about five feet and fell over and scratched the vulcan symbol and put a little scuff on the gastank. Most people don't notice until you point it out. There is a small tear under the right side of the seat. It too is barely noticeable, and there is some rust speckled on the right muffler. It is so pretty and so much fun to ride and I don't want to sell it but times are tuff and I have to get rid of it so I can pay my bills. Also included in the price is a heavy-duty weather cover, a cargo net, a Tourmaster padded jacket, a leather bandana, some extra large leather chaps, a new black do-rag and four easy to install purple accent light pods. All of these accessories together cost me over $350. I also have a flat black Scorpion helmet with an excellent venting system. It is in very good condition and I will include it for an additional $100. If you were to buy this motorcycle from a dealer without all of the customizations I have added to it, they would charge you at least $3500. I am asking over $1000 less than that and it has all of the custom accessories included. If I can't get $2500 for it than I will not sell it, because I believe that it is worth it.
